THE WEAVE:
In 1978, the North Node was in Libra, ‘Stayin’ Alive’ was the hottest song on the radio, and the ‘Dreamer’ was born.
Last week, we finally loaded the Dreamer into Rage as the Sun became conjunct with Venus retrograde in Leo. Friends joked about watching me watch my partner back the truck under the Dreamer while I pulled my hair out silently. And it’s true, after months of removing rust from beneath my truck, and tending to camper repairs, some part of me was waiting for something to go wrong.
But nothing went wrong. We drove the Dreamer to West Virginia. We climbed some rocks. We swam. We cozily cooked. We slept SO WELL. We fine-tuned our storage systems like any Virgo Sun-Moon pair might. We high-fived.
It took a community to make this merger happen. Friends lent Will and I their tools, their time, their expertise. There is NO WAY I would have (or could have) done this on my own. I would have been too overwhelmed, frozen by all the steps we needed to take, and the complexity of getting from one to the other.
Road Rage is my most precious possession. In years past, she was an outward representation of what had made me feel safe, independent, and free. Letting her change required that I change my relationship to those ideas.
To make Road Rage into a Dreamer, I exchanged some of my independence for inter-dependence. I merged resources, I inter-wove, I co-dreamed. I learned there is far more available to us when we dream together. We create things none of us have all the pieces for independently.

When we finally united Rage and the Dreamer, we sent this picture to our close friend and greatest consultant during this project. “The dream is on,” he said. And indeed, the Dream is on, in more ways than one.
The husk of one dream reveals the seed of another. We spent more than one rainstorm that week snuggled up in the Dreamer, dreaming up what comes next.
What dreams are your dreams birthing now?
To the ones you long for, the ones you fear, the ones you make real.
Xx, J
