






In his book, ‘The Hero With A Thousand Faces,’ Joseph Campbell explains that a blunder is often a way a hero is initiated into their quest;
“-blunders are not the merest chance. They are the result of suppressed desires and conflicts. They are ripples on the surface of life, produced by unsuspected springs. And these may be very deep- as deep as the soul itself. The blunder may amount to the opening of a destiny.”
So if you find yourself in a blunder mid-month, wonder a while on the call to adventure that may be hidden within it.
Is it a mistake, or the opening of a truer path? Is it a folly, or a chance encounter with destiny?
